# Traits and Characteristics

There distinct traits to a Ember's personality and in-game capabilities, further specializing their role in *EmberLore*:

* **Aggression & Tactics**:Some fire and earth Embers tend to become more aggressive and tank-like as they evolve, favoring direct combat, whereas air and water Embers develop more evasive and tactical abilities, emphasizing speed, dodging, and ranged attacks.
* **Strategic Specializations**: Some Embers evolve to fill specific roles, such as support creatures that can heal or buff allies, or offensive creatures designed for dealing massive bursts of damage in short periods.
* **Unique Evolutions**: Some Embers have alternate evolution paths based on in-game choices, items collected, or environments explored. For instance, a water Ember might evolve differently if it spends more time in icy regions compared to tropical areas, gaining frost powers instead of keeping it's water abilities.
